About the position

The AWS, DevOps, Python Application Developer role focuses on leveraging AWS technologies and DevOps practices to manage cloud infrastructure and application development. The position requires extensive experience in AWS, Python, and DevOps methodologies, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure as code and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Possess knowledge of AWS and its associated technologies from both DevOps and CloudOps perspectives.
• Manage Amazon ECS cloud instances and their configurations.
• Create and manage S3 buckets and implement IAM role-based policies.
• Design and manage highly scalable and available cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Exhibit proficiency with CI/CD tools and configure build and release pipelines.
• Work with version control tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Perform patch management tasks, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available patches, assessing appropriateness for specific systems, ensuring proper installation, testing post-installation, and documenting associated procedures.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability, including installation, upgrades/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
• Test new product releases to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python.
