About the position
The AWS Developer position is designed for seasoned AWS technologists who will lead and deliver technical solutions for cloud migration and the development of new projects in AWS. The role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering large-scale data systems and automating data platform operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, design, develop and deliver large-scale data systems, data processing and data transformation projects.
- Automate data platform operations and manage the post-production system and processes.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in data platforms involving the implementation of end-to-end data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Implementation experience with column-oriented database technologies (e.g., Big Query, Redshift, Vertica), NoSQL database technologies (e.g., DynamoDB, BigTable, Cosmos DB), and traditional database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Experience in implementing data pipelines for both streaming and batch integrations using tools/frameworks like Glue ETL, Lambda, Spark, Spark Streaming.
- Experience in data modeling, warehouse design and fact/dimension implementations.
- Experience working with code repositories and continuous integration.

- Developer certifications for the cloud service capabilities of AWS.
