About the position
The AWS Enterprise Sr. Solutions Architect will partner with customers in the Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, and Transportation sectors to design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures. This role involves educating clients on best practices for cloud migration and driving successful business outcomes through collaboration with AWS teams and partners.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable cloud architectures for enterprise customers.
- Advise organizations on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud.
- Collaborate with AWS Sales and product teams to address customer business challenges.
- Educate and train customers on advanced cloud-based solutions.
- Shape and execute strategies to increase AWS adoption within enterprise customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
- Experience working with end user or developer communities.
