About the position

As an AWS Full Stack Developer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will be responsible for creating end-to-end software solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role involves not only coding but also mastering new tools and techniques to improve systems and help clients tackle their most challenging problems using the latest technologies and architectural approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready solutions.
  • Identify needed system improvements and implement them effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure solutions align with current architecture and future enhancements.
  • Utilize front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Implement back-end programming using languages like Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Apply DevOps practices and tools in the development process.
  • Manage database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Leverage AWS services and architecture in software development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience in back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as SQL and NoSQL.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and architecture.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines in government environments.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer.
