About the position

We are currently seeking a AWS Glue Architect - McKinney, Texas to join our team in Mckinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, ensuring efficient data integration and transformation
• Integrate various data sources, including SQL databases and other data repositories, to facilitate comprehensive data processing and analytics
• Design and implement data transformation processes to clean, enrich, and structure data for analytical and business purposes
• Enhance and create AWS Lambda functions as part of the data processing workflow when necessary
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues in data pipelines

Requirements

• Minimum seven years of experience in ETL development and data engineering, specifically with AWS Glue, integrating it with other AWS services for end-to-end data processing solutions

Nice-to-haves

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS Glue for data integration, transformation, and ETL processes
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks across relational databases
• Solid background in data engineering, with experience in building and managing data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines on AWS
• Deep familiarity with the broader AWS ecosystem, including services like S3, Redshift, Lambda, Athena, CloudWatch, and IAM
• Strong experience in any ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS
