About the position

The AWS Glue ETL Data Engineer at HTC Global Services will be responsible for managing and executing updates to the underlying infrastructure and software platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role involves migration to AWS 2.0 and requires collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure successful application migrations and operationalization of AWS Glue ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing and executing updates to the underlying infrastructure and software platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Manage the changes to AWS Glue ETL as needed.
• Write and update the terraform code.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in native AWS Glue ETL engineering, operationalization, automation build out, integration with other native AWS services and CICD using Python, Perl, and AWS APIs.
• Strong hands on AWS experience in administration, configuration, design, and platform technical systems engineering in Glue, Python and AWS Services.
• Extensive experience in Application migrations to Cloud. Provide support for Applications running in Cloud and on-premise.
• Excellent communication, time management, and technical presentation skills.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Glue ETL in AWS environment is preferred.
• Configure AWS Secrets manager.
• Experience with terraform for deploying AWS components.
• Ability to understand big picture, identify areas of efficiency and have worked to implement ideas into solutions.
• AWS Certification.
