About the position

The AWS Java Developer role involves developing and integrating applications using Java technologies, specifically within the AWS cloud environment. The position requires strong expertise in Java, Spring, and REST services, along with experience in database management using SQL and NoSQL technologies. The developer will work on various AWS services and tools, contributing to the overall development and deployment of cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate applications using Java and Spring technologies.
• Implement REST services and API integrations.
• Manage database systems using SQL and NoSQL (Cassandra).
• Utilize AWS services such as ECS, EKS, and Aurora Postgres DB for application development.
• Employ Terraform for infrastructure as code and deployment processes.
• Conduct testing using Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra.
• Experience with AWS development, including ECS, EKS, and Aurora Postgres DB.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• AWS Developer or AWS Architect certifications are preferred.
