Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize cloud-based solutions using AWS EC2, AWS EMR, Amazon S3, and Apache Spark.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient data processing pipelines.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of cloud infrastructure by monitoring and solving issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Implement best practices for data security and compliance to protect sensitive information.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements capturing, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Work closely with collaborators to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance system performance and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment and scaling processes.

Requirements

• Possess a strong background in AWS EC2, AWS EMR, Amazon S3, and Apache Spark with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Demonstrate experience in developing and optimizing cloud-based solutions.
• Show proficiency in designing and implementing data processing pipelines.
• Exhibit knowledge of standard processes for data security and compliance.
• Have experience in conducting code reviews and maintaining high standards of code quality.
• Display familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.
