About the position

The AWS/Linux System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading systems in a dynamic team environment, focusing on mission-critical applications that support national security. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker, while ensuring system security and compliance through continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and upgrading Kubernetes clusters and ancillary management components.
• Patching, upgrading, scanning, reporting, and remediating vulnerabilities for the systems.
• Providing support to create and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for the systems.
• Continuous monitoring of all systems using tools like Amazon CloudWatch and other Linux monitoring tools.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• 10 years of experience as a System Administrator in similar programs and contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• System Administration experience for Linux (Red Hat and CentOS) and Windows/VMware.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with NIS, NFS, DNS, and LDAP.
