The AWS Mobile Solutions Architect / Developer position is a critical role within our client's organization, focusing on the upgrade of their mobile application from version 3 to version 4. This role is designed for highly experienced Senior Technical Consultants who will provide essential expertise and accelerate technical decision-making across multiple squads. The app development structure consists of five vertical squads that are dedicated to client-facing features and three horizontal squads that focus on internal services. The successful candidate will work closely with the main technical lead, forming a collaborative partnership to ensure the success of the project. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support and enhance decision-making processes. You will evaluate and pressure-test current solutions and technical approaches across eight squads, ensuring that the best practices are followed. The position requires hands-on development experience in building digital applications for large North American financial institutions, with a strong foundation in solution and enterprise architecture. You will also need to possess solid program management skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern development frameworks such as Flutter and React Native, as well as a strong understanding of AWS. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to provide technical guidance and make informed technical trade-offs. Additionally, familiarity with agile environments and the latest trends in mobile app development will be beneficial as you work collaboratively across multiple squads to ensure cohesive technical strategies.
