About the position

The AWS Python Developer position at CGI Group, Inc. is a full-time role focused on designing and developing projects for migrating on-premises applications to the AWS Cloud. Responsibilities

• Design and develop projects for migrating on-premises applications to the AWS Cloud.
• Collaborate with the Architecture team for the design and implementation of web-based applications.
• Guide teams in designing, developing, and deploying data sets and tools that support product use cases.
• Support DevOps and production support teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Developer.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Proficient in SQL development.
• Experience with AWS technologies (Redshift, Athena, Glue, EC2, Lambda, S3, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code technologies (Terraform, GitLab, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD deployment using Jenkins and pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning.

Nice-to-haves
