About the position

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable high-performance solutions using AWS Python and PySpark.
• Oversee the development and deployment of cloud-based applications and services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the architecture aligns with business goals and objectives providing strategic value to the company.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues in the architecture ensuring robust and reliable solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the architecture.
• Optimize existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to solve complex problems.

Requirements

• Possess a strong background in AWS Python and PySpark with at least 10 years of experience.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Exhibit strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively convey technical concepts.
• Show a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable high-performance solutions.
• Have experience in leading and mentoring development teams to achieve project goals.
• Display a deep understanding of cloud-based architectures and best practices.
