About the position

The AWS/React Developer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and back-end system administration of corporate retail microsites and web applications. This remote position requires collaboration with creative design, business, and UX teams to create web properties using HTML5 and CSS3 for both desktop and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create web applications from wireframes using HTML, React, and Node.js.
• Utilize a wide variety of AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, and CloudFormation.
• Build micro-services and server-based scripts on Lambda platforms using Node.js and React.
• Work with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in web development.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Java is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
