About the position

As an AWS Solutions Architect at Incept Data Solutions, you will utilize your extensive experience in cloud services to design and implement scalable and robust systems on the AWS platform. This role involves collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to develop cloud solutions that align with business objectives and meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems using AWS services.
• Provide oversight and technical expertise across the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements and implement cloud solutions.
• Identify and select appropriate AWS services for cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with security standards.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and drive improvements to cloud architecture for enhanced performance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience with operating systems such as Red Hat Linux and Windows.
• 10+ years of experience designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• 10+ years of providing architectural guidance and oversight throughout project lifecycles.
• 10+ years of experience collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to implement cloud solutions.
• 10+ years of experience selecting appropriate AWS services based on requirements.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience designing distributed systems on AWS.
• 8+ years of experience gathering requirements to define cloud-based solutions.
• 8+ years of experience assessing existing infrastructure and recommending improvements.
• 8+ years of experience educating teams on architectural principles and best practices.
• 8+ years of experience ensuring solutions comply with TIERS' security standards.

Nice-to-haves

• 8+ years of knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.).
• 5+ years of general knowledge of databases (Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, etc.).
• 5+ years of knowledge of identity and access management and cybersecurity principles.
• 5+ years of experience staying updated on cloud computing developments.
• 5+ years of AWS Solutions Architect certification.
