About the position
The AWS Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, managing, and communicating technical solutions that address business problems. This role involves creating end-to-end system designs that integrate AWS resources, ensuring security, managing data flows, and overseeing user management and authentication. The architect will also support the development team with architecture and security approvals, while analyzing the current environment to identify necessary technology and software adjustments for scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design how systems connect end-to-end within and beyond AWS resources, including security, data flows, integrations, user management & authentication, and maintenance.
- Peer review and advise on the development of automation codes and automated deployment of infrastructure into the 2WSC environment.
- Create, present, and own SAD documentation, approvals, and related updates.
- Support the development team in architecture and security approvals.
- Analyze and evaluate the current 2WSC environment to determine necessary technology and software adjustments in the context of evolving scope and scaling.
- Translate evolving business requirements into designs for secure, highly available products with global scalability, bridging the gap between on-prem and cloud-based architectures.
Requirements
- Expertise in AWS Cloud technologies, Github, Terraform, and IaaS.
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Lucid, SailPoint (SAML, SSO, etc.), and Azure AD.
