About the position

The AWS Solutions Architect role at Endurance IT involves designing and implementing innovative solutions on AWS and Azure platforms. The position requires a strong problem solver with excellent project management and communication skills, responsible for evaluating current technology landscapes and ensuring solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand and evaluate the current technology landscape at regional and corporate levels.
• Design and document the proposed architecture.
• Evaluate, propose, and implement solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring security, compliance, performance, and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Collaborate with home office and other regional teams to ensure solutions are designed and implemented within corporate guidelines.
• Design solutions within the project constraints of technology, cost, quality, time, resources, and scope.
• Define and ensure best practices are implemented.
• Create prototypes of proposed solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in designing high availability and robust solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in DevOps.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in both waterfall and agile development and project management environments.
• In-depth understanding of technologies and tools such as .NET, ReactJS, EKS, AWS Lambda, Secret Manager, CloudWatch, Kong, MuleSoft, API Gateway, Caching, Git, and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake) - both standalone and RDS.
