About the position

We are seeking a Secure Baseline Configuration Architect to join our team in Malvern, PA. This position is crucial for developing secure baselines for our AWS cloud platform and providing technical support to our vulnerability team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills and will be responsible for creating and maintaining our security model, which integrates various frameworks such as CIS, ISO, and SOC2. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security and the ability to document security configurations and procedures effectively. The architect will be tasked with developing and maintaining secure baseline configurations for AWS cloud environments. This includes providing technical support to the vulnerability team to ensure that robust security measures are in place. The architect will collaborate with business units and the vulnerability team to securely integrate new applications into our cloud environment. Participation in meetings to revamp and enhance the structure of baselining processes will also be a key responsibility. Additionally, the architect will transition on-premise baselines to cloud environments, ensuring comprehensive coverage and security. Writing and maintaining baselines in code and Confluence for recertification purposes is essential, as is the ability to update and refine security codes as needed. The architect will work closely with the Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) team to ensure compliance and security across the platform. Collaboration with other architects will be necessary to ensure that security measures are effectively implemented throughout the development pipeline and runtime. Finally, the architect will determine and establish minimum security requirements for production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure baseline configurations for AWS cloud environments.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS and creating secure cloud configurations.
• Proficient in technical writing, particularly in documenting security configurations and procedures.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and SOC2.
• Experience with Tripwire and Windows Server 2016.
• Familiarity with Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks.
• Experience with Confluence for documentation purposes.
