About the position

Avahi Tech is seeking an accomplished AWS Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of AWS solutions. This role is critical in driving successful migration, modernization, and DevOps initiatives, acting as the primary technical leader in customer consultations and shaping technical strategies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and be passionate about AWS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical leader in customer calls, leading technical discussions and presenting solutions.
• Support DevOps, migration, and modernization projects by delivering high-quality technical strategies.
• Conduct Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) assessments and lead workshops to evaluate cloud migration readiness.
• Create detailed level-of-effort estimates and scope-of-work documents to support project planning and proposals.
• Serve as a hands-on escalation point for complex technical issues during project execution.
• Guide team members on AWS solutions, migration strategies, and best practices, fostering skill development.
• Leverage deep cloud migration experience to ensure seamless transitions to AWS from on-premises environments.
• Design and implement innovative solutions, remaining hands-on throughout project lifecycles.
• Stay updated on AWS offerings, DevOps tools, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Requirements

• AWS Professional and specialty certifications are highly desirable.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.
• Track record of leading successful AWS migration and modernization projects.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, CircleCI).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its best practices.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
