About the position

The Creative Writing program is seeking qualified instructors to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate level courses in Fiction Writing. The courses include introductory to advanced levels, catering to students at different stages of their writing journey. The program aims to foster creativity and enhance the writing skills of its students through structured coursework and seminars.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Fiction Writing.
  • Develop course materials and syllabi for each course.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops to enhance student learning.
  • Mentor students in their writing projects and career aspirations.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Creative Writing or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching writing at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • A strong portfolio of published fiction work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ph.D. in Creative Writing or a related field.
  • Experience in online or hybrid teaching formats.
  • Active involvement in the literary community.
