About The Position

The Publishing Program is seeking qualified instructors to teach a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate courses related to the publishing industry. The courses cover various aspects of publishing, including writing, editing, design, marketing, and entrepreneurship, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the field.

Requirements

  • A strong background in the publishing industry.
  • Experience in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Expertise in specific areas of publishing such as editing, design, marketing, or entrepreneurship.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Publishing, English, Communications).
  • Professional experience in book publishing or related industries.
  • Familiarity with current trends and technologies in publishing.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Publishing Program.
  • Develop course materials and syllabi for each course.
  • Engage students in discussions and practical projects related to publishing.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback on assignments and projects.
