About the position

As a customer-focused Advanced Cloud Engineer at Microsoft, you will be the engineering contact responsible for managing the support experience for Azure customers. Your role involves driving problem resolution, supporting customer projects, and acting as the voice of the customer within Azure. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure a world-class engineering-led support experience, all while working in a flexible environment that allows for up to 100% remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Track customer incidents and engage with customers to understand issues with support and guidance.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting using diagnostics and communicate progress to customers.
  • Gather feedback from customers and partners to learn how they use the product.
  • Assist with answering customer questions, reporting issues, and conducting health checks with some oversight.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues and follow up with customers on findings.
  • Partner with other teams to review and unblock customer incidents.
  • Work with customers to gather input on their experiences with Microsoft solutions.

Requirements

  • Technical proficiency in Azure and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and partners.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with automation of solutions.
  • Knowledge of incident management processes.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management tools.
