About the position

The Azure Architect role focuses on designing and implementing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services, specifically tailored for the financial services or property and casualty (P&C) insurance sectors. This hybrid position requires a strong background in Azure Integration Services and the ability to work collaboratively in both onshore and offshore environments. The role emphasizes the development of system integrations across various applications, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system integrations using Microsoft Azure Integration Services to connect on-premises, SaaS, and cloud-hosted applications.
• Implement integration solutions around Microsoft platforms, focusing on Azure Integration Services, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.
• Produce various document templates and relevant documentation independently.
• Coordinate effectively with offshore and onshore teams to ensure project success.
• Utilize CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub for deployment and integration processes.
• Apply knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, including ESB, SOA, RESTful APIs, and message brokers.

Requirements

• Strong experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Proficiency in Azure Integration Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and various CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Working knowledge of Azure Storage, databases, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the financial services industry or P&C insurance.
• Knowledge of Azure infrastructure components like Virtual Network, Subnet, Network Security Group, and WAF.
• Conceptual knowledge of event-driven APIs and message brokers.
