About the position

The Azure Architect position is a full-time hybrid role based in Edison, NJ, requiring in-office work two to three days a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial services industry or property and casualty (P&C) insurance, focusing on designing and implementing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system integrations using Microsoft Azure Integration Services to connect on-premises, SaaS, and cloud-hosted applications.
• Implement integration solutions around Microsoft platform, ensuring adherence to enterprise integration patterns.
• Produce various document templates and relevant documentation independently.
• Coordinate offshore and onshore teams effectively.
• Utilize Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management for integration tasks.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Azure Integration Services, including Azure Logic Apps and Azure Service Bus.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and various tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Conceptual knowledge of ESB, SOA, RESTful APIs, and event-driven APIs.
• Working knowledge of Azure Storage, databases, and SQL Server.
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Azure infrastructure components like Virtual Network, Subnet, and Network Security Group.
• Experience in the financial services industry or P&C insurance.
