About the position

The Azure Cloud Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud-based systems, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Office 365 environments. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure while providing support to internal teams. The position requires a hands-on approach to design, deployment, and administration of cloud solutions, along with proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure solutions, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity and access management.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, Point Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related applications.
  • Configure and maintain hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security, implementing proactive measures to prevent and mitigate issues.
  • Implement and manage identity and access controls, including Azure Active Directory, conditional access policies, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for cloud-based systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to cloud computing and Microsoft technologies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a cloud administrator, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, M365, O365, and Exchange Online.
  • Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure services, including virtualization, networking, storage, and security.
  • Expertise in configuring and managing Microsoft 365 and Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, Point Online, and Teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and identity management best practices.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and implementing connectivity between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
