About the position

Cloudforce is seeking a talented, full-time Cloud Solutions Administrator, with experience designing, deploying, and maintaining resources in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate must possess a solid foundation in IT infrastructure and demonstrated experience working with leading-edge cloud offerings, particularly Azure services. This role requires a desire to learn, test, deploy, and support the latest cloud technologies in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will also have an innate desire to provide exceptional customer service with a positive, nurturing personality, and a willingness to help improve every client's situation through the thoughtful application of technology. As a Cloud Solutions Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining resources in Microsoft Azure. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design, and implement solutions that meet client needs. Troubleshooting issues related to Azure services and providing timely resolutions will be a key part of your role. You will monitor the performance and availability of Azure services and take proactive measures to ensure high availability and performance. Additionally, you will manage access and permissions to Azure resources and services, ensuring that Azure solutions are secure, compliant with industry standards, and follow best practices. Developing and maintaining documentation for Azure solutions and working with development teams to deploy applications to Azure will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying up-to-date with the latest Azure features and updates and evaluating their potential impact on the organization is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and maintain resources in Microsoft Azure.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design, and implement solutions that meet client needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Azure services and provide timely resolutions.
  • Monitor the performance and availability of Azure services and take proactive measures to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Manage access and permissions to Azure resources and services.
  • Ensure that Azure solutions are secure, compliant with industry standards, and follow best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Azure solutions.
  • Work with development teams to deploy applications to Azure and manage the lifecycle of the applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and updates and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining resources in Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficient in managing Windows AD, Azure AD, Office 365, and Exchange Online.
  • Proficient with automation tools, such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles.
  • Experience managing Identity and Access Management services, such as Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access, and Azure MFA.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, and Azure App Services.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.
  • Good understanding of security and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) are a plus.
