The position is responsible for defining, implementing, and supporting the technical architecture for Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments within the company. This role will work closely with the Chief Architect and other technical leaders to enhance the scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud services, ultimately providing a best-in-class Information Services experience for both internal and external stakeholders. The organization emphasizes automation, site reliability, and continuous improvement methodologies, making these key components of the role. The successful candidate will architect and design solutions that are scalable, highly available, and automated, ensuring compliance with all required security controls and best practices. Responsibilities include implementing solutions using Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) technologies, managing cloud accounts, organizations, and tenants, and writing scripts in Terraform, Ansible, Python, and PowerShell. The role also involves analyzing current technology, developing roadmaps for improvement, and maintaining applications and systems through regular security patching in accordance with company vulnerability management standards. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with project management teams to support the estimation and progress monitoring of cloud services activities, represent their area of responsibility as a core member of the Architecture Review Board, and work closely with other Information Services associates to ensure efficient project completion. The position requires experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or banking, a strong understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, and proficiency in various DevOps methodologies and tools.
