About the position

The position involves a comprehensive role in building, designing, deploying, implementing, migrating, and managing operations within a data center environment. The candidate will be responsible for leveraging mixed environments that include blades, rack-mounts, and disparate storage systems. This role requires a deep understanding of data center architecture and operations, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together to support business objectives. A significant aspect of the job will involve the migration and maintenance of Azure systems, particularly focusing on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions hosted on Azure. The candidate will be expected to work closely with cloud design and development, ensuring that the infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and security. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud solutions align with the overall business strategy and meet the needs of various stakeholders. The role will also require ongoing management of operations, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and effectively. This includes monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements as necessary. The candidate will need to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in cloud computing and data center management to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build, design, deploy, implement, migrate, and manage operations in a data center environment.
• Involve in Data Center Architecture and Operations leveraging mixed environments of blades, rack-mounts, and disparate storage.
• Manage migration and maintenance of Azure systems with a focus on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
• Work in Cloud design and development to ensure optimal performance and scalability of solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data center architecture and operations.
• Strong knowledge of Azure systems, particularly in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
• Experience with cloud design and development methodologies.
• Familiarity with mixed environments including blades, rack-mounts, and disparate storage systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in Azure or cloud architecture.
• Experience with data migration strategies and tools.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
