About the position

We are seeking a Junior to Mid-level Data Engineer with a focus on healthcare data to join our team in Irving, TX. This full-time hybrid role involves working primarily in-office four days a week. The ideal candidate will have experience with clinical data sets and a passion for improving patient and provider experiences. The role includes responsibilities such as data extraction, processing through ETL pipelines, and visualization using Power BI, all aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Extract and pull data from various sources.
• Process data through ETL pipelines.
• Visualize data using Power BI.
• Collaborate with team members on data projects.
• Work with clinical data sets and healthcare claims.

Requirements

• Experience with clinical data sets (EMR).
• Knowledge of healthcare claims (Payer).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong SQL skills, including SQL VM.
• Experience with data warehousing.
• Familiarity with SSIS.
• Knowledge of VMS, Power BI, and ADF.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with APIs.
