About the position

The Azure Cloud Developer Intern at Applied Concepts is a pivotal role aimed at supporting the company's transition to cloud-based platforms. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on designing, developing, prototyping, and testing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. Interns will collaborate with various teams to ensure that solutions meet business requirements while adhering to best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, prototype, and test cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
  • Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Data Management teams to implement necessary adjustments in the data ecosystem.
  • Establish and maintain a high-performing team culture that upholds excellence in performance.
  • Exhibit innovation and creativity by exploring new ideas and adapting to changes.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with common learning-based algorithms such as classification, clustering, DNN, embedding, multi-task learning, and reinforcement learning.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C# or Python.
  • Proficiency in SQL (MySQL or MS SQL) and Java, JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, performance, scalability, and reliability principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in C/C++, JavaScript, and Java.
  • Experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing tools.
  • Exposure to big data concepts (Hadoop, Pyspark).
  • Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
