About the position

The Azure Cloud Developer will support a government agency in Tallahassee, Florida, focusing on a cloud migration and modernization project. This role involves full lifecycle application development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment of custom software applications and system integrations. The developer will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met while maintaining code quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle application development including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure code quality and performance standards are met, performing unit testing prior to user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and system integration issues.
• Implement enhancements and support ongoing development activities of the project team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of project deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements relevant to the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Microsoft development technologies and web application development.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a lead developer through the full software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React), WCF/WebAPI, and front-end technologies (HTML5, SASS, CSS frameworks like Bootstrap/Tailwind).
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Functions.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and knowledge of relational databases like Oracle and IBM DB2.
• Skilled in designing and deploying high-volume, high-transaction distributed web applications.
• Experience with Scrum, SAFe, or similar agile frameworks.
• Experience in Power BI, data migration/ETL solutions, Python, GIS frameworks, and cloud architecture.
