About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform. This position is focused on system architecture and solution design, ensuring that the platform is not only scalable but also performs efficiently under various workloads. The engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud-based solutions, particularly utilizing Azure services, to support data analytics and reporting needs. The role requires a deep understanding of cloud engineering principles and the ability to design robust data pipelines that facilitate seamless data ingestion and processing. In this position, the engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. They will be tasked with configuring and deploying Azure services, including Azure Data Lake and Azure Databricks, to create a comprehensive analytics environment. The engineer will also leverage Power BI to develop reporting solutions that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. A strong foundation in Python is essential, as it will be used for scripting and automating various processes within the data platform.
