About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer role at International Solutions Group (ISG) involves providing expertise in Azure cloud services, focusing on both Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The position requires strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions, as well as proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and ARM templates. The role also emphasizes scripting and development skills, particularly in Python or C#, and familiarity with Azure automation tools. The engineer will work on networking, security, compliance, and DevOps practices, ensuring effective monitoring and management of Azure resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in Azure PaaS and IaaS services.
• Implement and manage Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Develop scripts using Python or C# for automation tasks.
• Manage networking components including VNET Peering, NSGs, Load Balancing, and VPN Gateways.
• Configure and maintain Azure Firewall and Application Gateway.
• Ensure compliance with Azure Policies and security best practices.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes.
• Monitor Azure resources using cloud-native tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS services.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or C#.
• Familiarity with PowerShell for Azure automation.
• Understanding of networking concepts including VNET Peering, NSGs, Load Balancing, and VPN Gateways.
• Experience with Azure Firewall and Application Gateway.
• Knowledge of Azure Policies and security best practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
