About the position

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our cloud engineering team, which is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions using the latest Azure technologies. This position is hybrid, based in Westlake, TX, and offers a competitive rate of $60-65/hr on W2. Your primary responsibility will be to design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure resources that cater to the diverse and growing needs of our organization. You will be at the forefront of leveraging cloud infrastructure to drive efficiency and innovation across various projects, ensuring that we consistently meet and exceed our clients' expectations. In this role, you will utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate the creation of cloud resources, which is essential for ensuring scalability and efficiency. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day cloud infrastructure issues, implementing Azure security best practices, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and security standards. Additionally, you will manage both Windows and Linux servers, as well as Azure Active Directory, which are critical components of our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will extend to leveraging DevOps tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, managing network security configurations, and ensuring that our cloud environment is secure and efficient. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of security and compliance in our cloud operations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Expertise in implementing Azure security best practices.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux server management.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub.
  • Understanding of network security groups (NSGs) and application gateways.
