About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer will support the Army Reserve National Guard (ARNG) by designing, planning, and integrating cloud computing and virtualization systems. This fully remote position requires expertise in Azure and related technologies to enhance cloud-based services and meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and integrate cloud computing and virtualization systems.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement tools and services for efficient cloud solutions.
• Develop and conduct testing of cloud and virtualization systems.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in Azure industry standards and related technologies.
• Research and evaluate new security tools and products against operational requirements.
• Work independently or as part of a team in a virtualized Azure cloud environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience, or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Cloud Migration initiatives, tools, and processes.
• Experience using Government, Risk Compliance (GRC) tools.
• Experience working in an Azure Cloud Computing environment.
• Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policy documents.
• Knowledge of Authority to Operate (ATO) packages for cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST guides.
• Understanding of DOD requirements for Network Topology and Data Flow Diagrams.
