About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer at Sciolex Corporation is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions to support the U.S. Government's missions. This role requires collaboration with system architects and developers to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud-based systems, emphasizing hands-on experience with Azure technologies and a commitment to security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure solutions based on project requirements.
• Migrate on-premises applications and systems to the Azure cloud platform.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Automate deployment processes using infrastructure as code tools.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud security best practices.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more experience; relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Azure cloud services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage.
• Knowledge of networking concepts in Azure (e.g., Virtual Networks, Load Balancers).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
