About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions. This role involves close collaboration with system architects and developers to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud-based systems, with a focus on security and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure solutions based on project requirements.
• Migrate on-premises applications and systems to the Azure cloud platform.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Automate deployment processes using infrastructure as code tools.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud security best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more experience; Master's degree and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience can substitute for degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience with Azure cloud services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage.
• Knowledge of networking concepts in Azure (e.g., Virtual Networks, Load Balancers).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
