About the position

The Azure Cloud Development Engineer role focuses on providing day two support for cloud infrastructure, specifically within Azure and related technologies. The position requires a blend of cloud experience, systems engineering, automation engineering, software development, and platform engineering skills to ensure the effective operation and integration of cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Provide day two support for cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices for cloud environments.
• Automate business processes and systems integration.
• Design and develop microservices architecture.
• Create and maintain database schemas for structured and unstructured data.
• Utilize cloud observability tools to monitor and enhance cloud performance.
• Support critical applications in multi-region architectures.
• Develop reference applications and materials for learning paths.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to create cloud scenario-based learning paths.

Requirements

• Experience with Azure and AKS, with knowledge of Google Cloud Platform as a secondary skill.
• Strong background in systems engineering and cloud computing infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
• Experience in automation engineering and business process engineering.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and development.
• Knowledge of data design and database schema for various database systems.
• DevOps experience is essential.
• Understanding of cloud observability and resiliency.
