About the position

The client is seeking a dedicated Azure Cloud Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development and growth of their cloud infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This position is crucial as the organization embarks on a global standardization initiative, requiring the selected candidate to help align various teams to a unified process across the board. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of cloud computing technologies, particularly in areas such as networking, security, and application development. The role will initially require onsite presence 2-3 days a week, transitioning to onsite work as needed based on project demands. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing Azure cloud services and infrastructure. This includes working with virtual networks, virtual machines (VMs), and cloud storage solutions. Your expertise in automation and scripting will be essential, as you will utilize tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform to streamline cloud deployments and operations. Additionally, a strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards within the Azure environment is necessary to ensure data protection and adherence to regulatory requirements. This position is targeted at expert-level professionals who are ready to contribute significantly to the organization’s cloud initiatives.
