About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer role is focused on implementing and managing CI/CD automation processes within Microsoft Azure. This position requires collaboration with infrastructure architecture and software development teams to enhance deployment pipelines and support Azure services. The engineer will also contribute to the adoption of DevOps methodologies and ensure effective communication among various teams to facilitate automation and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Work with infrastructure architecture and software development teams to implement CI/CD automation on-prem and in Azure cloud.
• Implement and troubleshoot continuous build and deployment pipelines.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines automation and API integrations.
• Coordinate with Release Infrastructure Middleware Developers, Quality, and other support teams to create automation solutions.
• Provide support for CI/CD tools, including new app onboarding tasks and incident ticket support.
• Collaborate closely with architecture and development teams to deploy Azure services.

Requirements

• Required knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Networking, Load balancers, DNS, and Azure services.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deploying Azure services and applications based on Node.js and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure ARM templates, PowerShell, Shell Bash scripting, Terraform, Python, and Helm charts.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge with Docker and Azure Kubernetes deployments.
• Good understanding and solid experience with Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Hashicorp Rancher.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Certification preferred: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
