About the position

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to enhance our company operations by contributing to our cloud migration process. This role involves hands-on planning and execution, working closely with the CTO to oversee the Microsoft Azure cloud environment and ensure effective management, configuration, and monitoring of policies, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing Microsoft Azure cloud environment through management, configuration, and monitoring of policies, performance, and security.
• Formulating multi-region solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Evaluating and improving operational standards, processes, and governance.
• Transferring existing infrastructure services to cloud-based applications.
• Using Azure PaaS services.
• Constructing CI/CD pipelines, Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure AD, Operations Management using Azure DevOps (VSTS).
• Ensuring the security and access controls of cloud-based applications in collaboration with our Security engineer.
• Maintaining cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure components.
• Coordinating with various teams (networking, firewall, security, applications, etc.) for successful cloud solution implementations.
• Participating in on-call duty to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Proficient with Azure CLI, PowerShell/Azure PowerShell.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in Azure.
• Experience in IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases, and application systems experience required.
