About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for supporting M365 and Microsoft Azure across a large financial organization in Cincinnati. This role involves design, implementation, and administration of cloud-based platform solutions, acting as the primary contact for Cloud/Infrastructure projects and issues. The engineer will work closely with Cloud Architects and other teams to ensure successful project execution and technology adoption.

Responsibilities

• Monitor new developments in emerging Cloud technology trends and identify new products that could benefit the company.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of new products and demonstrate their applicability in real-world applications.
• Provide support to development projects by resolving complex problems in a swat team style.
• Ensure projects remain on track with aggressive schedules and engage in the SDLC of new systems and technologies.
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed projects and assess new software packages in terms of cost, resources, and system capability.
• Engage with vendors and third parties to support platforms and implement improvements.
• Ensure SLA commitments are met both internally and externally.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Cloud Infrastructure.
• DevOps experience, particularly with Containers and Docker.
