About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, security, and management of the Azure cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Enterprise 5 (E5) tools at Mainstay Medical. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry-standard security practices, providing hands-on IT support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement secure IT solutions. The position requires a strong focus on cloud management, security configuration, and ERP system integration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Configure, develop, and deploy Microsoft Enterprise 5 (E5) security tools, including Endpoint Defender, Intune, and AutoPilot.
• Support the integration of Azure infrastructure with ERP systems, emphasizing cloud-based solutions.
• Design, implement, and manage Active Directory containers and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Continuously monitor and enhance the organization's information security protocols to comply with industry standards.
• Provide occasional hands-on technical support for employees in the San Diego office.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and cloud solutions with other IT systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a company with 150 or more employees.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate required.
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals required.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred.
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP or Oracle) is preferred.
