As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the cloud infrastructure of an insurance service provider located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. This full-time position requires you to be onsite for two days each week, allowing for a blend of collaborative and independent work. Your primary focus will be on the design and implementation of innovative Azure infrastructures and solutions that meet the company's evolving needs. You will be responsible for cloud administration, utilizing your expertise in scripting and programming to enhance the cloud environment while adhering to industry standards and best practices. In this role, you will lead the architecture of cloud solutions, ensuring that they are robust, scalable, and secure. Technical proficiency in Azure DevOps is essential, as is experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as YAML, Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform. Your familiarity with source code management systems will also be crucial in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the cloud infrastructure. It is important to note that the company is specifically seeking Azure Cloud specialists and is not considering candidates with a background in Azure DevOps or those from a multi-cloud environment. You will be expected to contribute significantly to the migration processes to Azure Cloud, leveraging your 6+ years of professional experience in Azure Cloud environments.
