About the position

The Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure technologies. This role focuses on security, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure orchestration, ensuring a secure and efficient cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement robust zero trust architecture around identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption to ensure security.
  • Work with Terraform and Ansible for orchestration and software installation.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Identify and address infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities.
  • Set up robust monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Create operational dashboards for proactive visibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Azure hands-on experience.
  • Strong understanding of Azure security practices.
  • Expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS including Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Azure Front Door.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Knowledge of Azure monitoring tools and operational dashboards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with WebLogic and Apache.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
  • Linux OS competence.
  • Agile mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • A Bachelor's Degree; master's is preferred.
  • Ability to configure Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Familiarity with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH, and/or Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-204 and AZ-400.
