About the position

The Azure Cloud Lead Developer/Architect role focuses on delivering cloud and edge solutions, particularly in the IoT domain. The position requires extensive experience in cloud computing, specifically with Azure, and involves guiding development teams in best practices while establishing end-to-end solution architectures for IoT-based business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on the cloud and edge with a focus on IoT and service-oriented architectures.
• Implement driver configuration and integration in real-time.
• Work with IoT edge domain, specifically with Kubernetes on the edge.
• Manage device edge gateways and their connectivity with cloud services.
• Establish best practices in architecture, design, and development.
• Guide and mentor development teams in driving best practices.
• Envision and develop end-to-end solution architecture for IoT-based business solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years overall experience in cloud and edge projects with Industry X.X experience.
• 5+ years of development experience in .NET, C, or Java.
• Expertise in cloud computing with implementation experience in Azure, AWS, or PTC ThingWorx.
• Knowledge of network technologies and protocols including MQTT, REST, AMQP, and others.
• Experience with Edge HA, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery.
• Proficiency in Docker, multi-tenancy, REST API, and Web-Protocols.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#/Java, Kubernetes, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of end-to-end security for IoT.

• Experience working on Linux-based Operating Systems.
• Passion for IoT, Cloud Technologies, Micro-services, DevOps, AI/ML/Analytics.
