About the position

The Azure Cloud Platform Engineer role involves creating and managing infrastructure on the Azure Cloud Platform using Terraform and Azure DevOps. This position requires strong technical skills in Azure services and the ability to collaborate with application teams to address requirements and troubleshoot platform issues. The role is hybrid, with a preference for candidates in San Francisco, CA, or Dallas, TX, and is intended for long-term engagement.

Responsibilities

• Creating Infrastructure in Azure CSP using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Creating Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Pipelines using Git Lab runners.
• Troubleshooting existing platform-related issues and implementing necessary changes.
• Converting Azure DevOps pipelines into Terraform IAC Pipelines.
• Creating and troubleshooting issues related to Azure Data Factory, VNETs, Route tables, NSGs, Purview, Azure storage, Application Contexts, Azure Key Vault, and Subscriptions.
• Building custom VM images using Packer.
• Deploying and troubleshooting Azure Windows/Linux VMs, Scale Sets, and Load balancers.
• Deploying and troubleshooting App Services, Function Apps, and Azure Automation accounts.
• Supporting weekly releases outside of business hours.
• Creating Jira Tasks and Service Now Change requests.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure resources.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
