A major financial services client is undergoing a significant data center transformation, which involves decommissioning nine data centers and constructing four new ones. This role is crucial in supporting the Directory Services organization within Cyber Security. The Azure Cloud Security Architect/Engineer will play a pivotal role in securing both public and private Azure cloud infrastructure, focusing specifically on the Credential Management & Directory Services group. The responsibilities of this position include researching, designing, and engineering authentication solutions. This encompasses developing controls and policies related to authentication and authorization for the end client. The ideal candidate will guide the client on best practices and ensure that they are developing and documenting processes that will establish a highly secure environment in the new data centers. This role demands not only deep design and engineering skills but also the ability to effectively communicate ideas in both written and verbal forms to a diverse audience. It is important to note that the client is not seeking candidates who are primarily engaged in operational support work within cloud environments. Instead, they are looking for individuals who can contribute to the strategic design and implementation of security measures in the cloud.
