About the position

The Azure Data Architect role is focused on architecting and designing comprehensive privacy solutions utilizing OneTrust technologies. This position involves implementing and managing various privacy-related functionalities, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, and leveraging Azure cloud platforms to enhance deployment and operations. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive implementation of privacy solutions and will utilize Agile methodologies for project management.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design comprehensive privacy solutions leveraging OneTrust technologies.
• Create detailed architectural documentation and diagrams to ensure product design clarity and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Develop and maintain reference architecture diagrams, developer and user handbooks.
• Implement and manage OneTrust Cookie Compliance, Incident Response, and Identity Proofing.
• Perform Privacy by Design Assessments and develop roadmaps for implementation of Privacy by Design Controls.
• Build and manage OneTrust inventories for personal data and controls.
• Oversee OneTrust Privacy Notice Management, Data Privacy Scanning, and Privacy Inventory Reporting.
• Automate Personal Data Inventory and develop privacy processes, reporting, and dashboards using OneTrust.
• Conduct Privacy Assessments using OneTrust and ensure compliance with Privacy Threshold Assessment requirements.
• Manage Vendor Risk using OneTrust Vendor Risk Management module.
• Implement Data Retention Management and Consent Management using OneTrust.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute technology solutions related to data privacy.
• Leverage Azure cloud platforms and implement DevOps practices to enhance deployment and operations.
• Design, develop, and integrate APIs to support privacy solutions.
• Manage and maintain privacy documentation and artifacts in Azure DevOps and MS Teams.
• Provide production support, monitoring, and maintenance to privacy services.
• Lead weekly health checks of privacy services in all environments.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive implementation of privacy solutions.
• Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies for project assignments.
• Develop a robust privacy reporting framework and integrate OneTrust with Power BI.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with privacy and data protection technologies.
• Extensive experience with OneTrust technologies, including core privacy modules.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing OneTrust modules.
• Hands-on experience with data mapping and inventory management.
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy frameworks and regulations.
• Experience with Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) database queries and reports.
• Expertise in designing end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements.
• Ability to create high-level and detailed architecture diagrams.
• Proficiency in using architecture modeling tools such as iGrafx, Microsoft Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, and Data Bricks.
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of Azure Resource Manager templates and Azure Policy.
• Expertise in SQL Server, including database design and optimization.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Strong experience in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .Net, JavaScript, or Python.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
