About the position

The Azure Data Architect will play a crucial role in building and hydrating data models, guiding the technical team, and establishing technical standards and processes. This position requires a strong understanding of the current business processes and the ability to build out the Enterprise Data Model using Medallion Architecture. The role is primarily technical, focusing on engineering data pipelines and building stored procedures/views, while also supporting the transition to the Azure Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and hydrate data models.
• Guide the technical team and establish technical standards and processes.
• Build out the Enterprise Data Model.
• Understand current business processes using Medallion Architecture.
• Engineer data pipelines and build stored procedures/views.
• Support the transition to the Azure Databricks platform.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in data architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent data analysis and Python skills.
• Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of GPT/LLM, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure Databricks platform.
