About the position

Infosys is seeking an Azure Data Architect who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. This role involves requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design, as well as creating high-level design artifacts. The Azure Data Architect will deliver high-quality code, lead validation for testing, and support implementation, transition, and warranty activities. The position emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a culture of learning, where excellence is rewarded and diversity is respected.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for modules.
• Lead validation for all types of testing and support implementation activities.
• Design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines using Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Optimize data processing workflows using automation and orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory.
• Develop complex SQL queries in Snowflake to build various metrics.
• Integrate Snowflake with Azure Data Factory to orchestrate complex ETL pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable data ingestion pipelines using Microsoft Azure Cloud, Python, and PySpark.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with real-time data processing solutions using Azure Databricks.
• Familiarity with agile methodology and Azure DevOps.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in a global delivery environment.
